A Message from our Board

April 3, 2023

Hello fellow owners. We are excited to share with you some news about a few initiatives we have been working on over the past several months! These changes are focused on improving the processes and tools we have available for our owners and staff in an effort to improve how we function as an association. Our focus has been to target changes that will create efficiencies in our day-to day operations as well provide solutions that open up new access, features and channels of communication for our owners. Here's a few highlights of what we've been working on.

  • We’ve moved from an on-premises QuickBooks financial solution to the online version. This has saved us support and software costs and removed our dependency on running and sustaining expensive server hardware in our office.

  • We recently made a decision to implement a new software platform which will support our website as well as create personal digital access for our owners to send and receive communications , submit online voting, open work orders, manage their information, pay dues, view calendars for events, and many other features. We are kicking this project off the first week of April and expect tangible results very soon. The software solution we have selected is called HOASTART. Please feel free to visit their site at www.hoastart.com to see all the exciting features that will be available to us. Our target is to be fully on the platform before the beginning of our next fiscal year this June. We'll keep you updated as the project moves along. You should expect some communication soon about some information we'll need to help get you onto the platform.

  • We have been holding our quarterly and ad-hoc board meetings on a digital platform over the past several months. This has allowed us to have almost all of the board members present at every meeting. This platform also allows recording and transcription. This is important for us to have for record-keeping, review and historical purposes. With this flexibility, we hope this will encourage more owners to consider board membership since these can be attended remotely. By the way, there will be two board positions opening up in June of 2023 if you've ever considered participating in that capacity.

  • We recently were able to get enough votes through our mail proxies to get a new budget approved (please see the March meeting minutes in the member's only section for details) which we had not been able to do recently. This is a big step forward for the upcoming year, but we expect to make this even easier when the new software platform is implemented which will allow all owners to vote digitally online.

We hope these announcements and improvements excite and encourage you. Our goal is to help enhance the overall value of ownership at Fall Creek for all of us. Thank you for taking the time to read this. As owners, we are better together and welcome your feedback and questions.

Our next Board Meeting will be on June 3rd. More details to come soon. We look forward to seeing you there.

A Message from our General Manager

May 6, 2023

Hello to our Owners!

We hope this newsletter finds you doing well. We have some exciting updates and friendly reminders to share with you all:

First and foremost, we want to express our gratitude for your support.  We are thrilled to be able to keep you all informed about what is going on in our community.

We are excited that very soon we will be launching our brand-new website.  This new website will allow you to have your own log in and within your members area you will be able to easily submit work orders, pay HOA fees plus keep up with what is happening in our community.  So, be on the lookout for “HOA Start”.

Board election is coming up in June! We have scheduled a meeting for June 3 at 9:00 am at Friendly Baptist Church, 2751 Kirkland Dr., Branson. Proxies, along with information on candidates, will be mailed out this Friday. More info will be forth coming so be sure to keep an eye out for those!

We are happy to report that Building 61 is almost finished with repairs after the sprinkler pipe froze and broke. Additionally, building 77 will be undergoing a leveling project starting in August.

Buildings 68, 71, and 31 require new drainage, but we are happy to say that Building 41's new drain has been completed. As for the rock beds, we will be giving them a makeover as we have time.

We want to remind everyone that with spring and summer upon us, nightly rentals will increase, and we will be more aggressive with citations, especially parking passes. We want to ensure that all members are following the guidelines set forth by the HOA. So please make sure you display your parking pass.  If you are doing nightly rentals, please make sure that your guests understand that they need to display their parking passes.  If you have any questions about citations, please give us a call anytime.

Finally, we want to remind everyone that charcoal grills are not allowed. Only propane or electric grills are permitted, and only small 2 ½ tanks are allowed.

If you notice anything at your building that needs attention, please let the office know.

We are here to serve you so please reach out if you notice anything regarding your building that needs attention.

Thank you all for your cooperation and for being such wonderful members of our community. Have a fantastic day!
